Educational Liason
Flagbearer Games is looking for Educational Liaisons to conduct outreach to schools and museums, investigate grant opportunities, and identify valuable conferences and events. Depending on their level of expertise, an Educational Liaison’s additional responsibilities will vary. They may be asked to develop curriculum integrations and work hand-in-hand with select teachers to incorporate Nations & Cannons experiences into classrooms. An Educational Liaison with a strong history background may also work with our team in a research capacity to generate material for adventure modules and new On This Day social media posts.
Candidates must have:
A passion for history and roleplaying games
A B.A. in History, Education, or a related field
At least 2 years of classroom experience at the middle school, high school, or collegiate level
Ideal candidates will have:
An M.A. in History, Education, or a related field, OR active enrollment in a joint Ph. D program
Professional expertise in grant research or writing, as well as the grant application process
Significant hands-on experience gamemastering TTRPGs
Past or current work doing social media, public relations, or other outreach for a school, museum, or educational organization
This position is expected to work 5-10 hours per week at a flat starting rate of $20 per hour. Subject to annual review, this rate may increase over time in recognition of the Liaison’s contributions. Nations & Cannons is an up and coming new TTRPG and there is the potential for additional hours for future Flagbearer Games publications.

Diversity statement:
Flagbearer Games is committed to equitable inclusion and diversity amongst its content and contributors. We welcome contributors of all backgrounds and seek to actively promote collaborations with contributors whose heritage, identity, and/or experience aligns closely with the subjects of our work. We are actively looking to highlight marginalized voices, and to include the stories of individuals who played active and instrumental roles in history, but have frequently been written out of colonized narratives. We strongly believe that bringing those stories to the table is part and parcel with our broader commitment to equitable inclusion in the present, and seek contributors and collaborators with the same or similar vision.
